Comic Relief Australia is an independent philanthropic trust committed to helping children and families in desperate need in Australia and overseas. Our major fundraiser is the annual Comic Relief television program in which local and international comedians donate their time and talent to bring attention to the causes we support.

Thanks to donations from thousands of Australians, Comic Relief Australia has raised over $2 million over the past three years. This has enabled us to provide financial support to over 60 vitally important projects in Australia and oversea via our grant distribution partners Volunteering Australia and Oxfam Australia.

This year, we have distributed a record $600,000 to Australian and overseas projects. Our 'Golden Dollar Promise' ensures that every cent of every dollar donated by the public is distributed to projects directed towards the relief of poverty, and social or economic injustice. This could not have been achieved without generous contributions from corporate partners, including ANZ and the Seven Network.
